3D mouse brain developmental atlases to understand spatiotemporal emergence of cell types
The brain contains multiple neuronal and non-neuronal cell types with distinct spatial relationships that serve as a basic building block in the brain. We developed high resolution mapping methods to visualize and quantify these individual brain cell types across the entire mouse brain. In this talk, I will present my lab’s effort to establish new 3D developmental mouse brain atlases and to understand the spatiotemporal emergence of several major cell types including GABAergic neurons and microglia in developing mouse brains.
